Grief Collector was formed by (ex-)members of Signs Of Reign, Among The Serpents and Candlemass/Solitude Aeturnus. Their aim was to combine Doom, some Sludge and feelings of sorrow and tragedy into the most epic tragedy ridden serenades that could stand the test of time.

So I can't leave a long enough review to say everything I want. But I will say this, I love this EP. It's a great little follow up to times, and has just enough of a dynamic shift in sound to prove that Smoulder isn't a one trick pony with their first album's formula. This one really plays up the 70s prog aspects (DUST and Manilla Road influences definitely shine through even harder here). It's still Smoulder, don't get me wrong. Just a different side in some ways, all of which are good.

Could not find a best album to remind thé greatest of mid 80's heavy metal just before the wave of Germany and speed/thrash américan bands.All songs are killers.the way i put the MC in my player to listen to this brings me back to a period without web and smartphone when life was really really better than now.You was so proud to come back from the music shop by bike with a New "import" album to listen to in your bag! thank you Tyrant
